Ferrari 250 TdF (787)
This classic racing Ferrari needed more power to be competitive in the Shell Historic drum-brake class. Carobu Engineering took a scientific approach to making more power from this 3-port head V-12 engine. In addition to the engine improvements, a complete racing exhaust system was made including new exhaust manifolds. Also, an aluminum flywheel and racing clutch along with an aluminum radiator were installed.
The final result (see dyno page) was very successful leading to many
impressive class results.
Ferrari 275 GTB/C (7437)
275 GTB/C (Corsa Cliente) models are already race cars, so we tweaked the engine for maximum HP. Special attention was paid to cylinder head flow and cam design to extract the maximum from this stalwart vintage racer.
The final dyno results show the impressive power made by this legendary 6 carb,2-cam engine.
Ferrari 250 GT SWB (3409)
This SWB was a street car most of its life, but became a vintage racer for a short time (2004-2005) before becoming a concours winner and street car again. While on the racing circuit, 3409 ran well at the Monterey Historics and
Cavallino Classic events.
See the dyno page for the power results from this 6 carb, 12 cylinder racer.
